All users of the Jun and Sandy Lee Wisconsin Structures and Materials Testing Laboratory are required to adhere to laboratory safety rules. Before access to laboratory equipment or space is granted, safety training must be scheduled with the Lab Manager and a signed Lab Safety Form must be on file.
Safety concerns or faulty safety equipment should be immediately reported to the Lab Manager. Safety incidents (near misses, etc.) should be reported to the College of Engineering Safety office and the Lab Manager must also be notified within 24 hours.

Lab coats can be obtained through the College of Engineering lab coat program. The dispensing and collection points are in Engineering Hall (EH) – Hallway 2000J and Mechanical Engineering (ME) Building room 1272. See here for more information.
