Research
- All new users to the WSMTL must first create a FOM account and add funding information. Additional information on creating your account can be found here.
- Complete safety training with the lab manager and sign safety rules form.
- For project planning, please complete the Research Resources request form and submit to lab manager.
- Schedule a pre-planning meeting for upcoming projects with the lab manager. This meeting is critical for the research group and lab management to work effectively together and to plan for laboratory resources, including lab space, equipment and lab manager time.
Instructional
Faculty interested in utilizing WSMTL space or resources for instructional purposes should contact the Lab Manager.
Industry
WSMTL facilities are available to conduct testing for clients outside of UW-Madison. Please contact the Lab Manager for more information.
